The Detroit Lakes Animal hospital is still open, however our waiting room is currently closed. You can reach our team by contacting us at 218-847-5674. Listen to the phone prompts closely as these have recently changed. Please call ahead of time to make your appointments and to pick up medications and prescription foods so our team is ready to help you.
Please schedule or reschedule your appointment for at least 2 weeks out if you have:
- Recently been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 or you yourself are in quarantine for COVID-19 or you are awaiting results of a recent COVID-19 test
- Fever, diarrhea or vomiting
- Cough, runny nose, sore throat, difficulty breathing
- Recently travelled on an airplane within the last 14 days
Please don’t be offended as our staff will be limiting contact with clients and we may ask you to wear a mask if you have any signs of illness. We are also practicing social distancing when our team members meet you in the parking lot.
Our team has increased our efforts to make sure areas of our hospital are disinfected more frequently and hand sanitizer is available for anyone entering our hospital.
We ask for your patience during this ever changing time with the COVID-19 outbreak as we continue to offer the most caring and high quality medicine we can for your pet under the new restrictions.
